Every lesson is one-to-one and paced to the student. Start with one track and add another when you're ready.
From the alphabet to reading fluently from the mushaf, for anyone who can't read Arabic script yet.
Correct pronunciation and the rules of tajweed, applied to the surahs you already know.
Memorise with a plan and a gentle check-in every lesson: new lines, then revision, then a star on the chart.
Speaking, reading and writing for everyday life, and for understanding what you recite.

The teacher
Asmaa Ahmed teaches Quran and Arabic online from Egypt to students across the US, Canada and the Gulf. Her lessons are in English, one-to-one, and built around the student in front of her: a five-year-old learning the alphabet with drawings, or an adult working towards finishing the whole Quran.

Asmaa teaches every lesson herself, so sisters and daughters learn with a female teacher from the first lesson to the last.

Students who memorise get a chart. Every surah they finish gets coloured in. Kids ask for the next one.

No. Many students begin with the alphabet. Asmaa teaches in English and uses transliteration until the letters feel familiar.
Yes. Asmaa teaches every lesson herself, so daughters and mothers learn with a female teacher throughout.
Children from around five, teenagers and adults. Siblings are welcome; tell us about each child and Asmaa will suggest what works.
On Zoom, with the whiteboard and screen sharing for reading practice. You only need a phone, tablet or laptop with a camera.

The Prophet ﷺ taught that whoever reads a letter of the Quran earns a good deed, and each good deed is multiplied by ten (Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2910). Every lesson with Asmaa begins with one letter.
